John Pollex – Large Slab Vessel Vase

This is one of John’s slab-built pots, recently Featured in Ceramic Review. His slap vessels are abstractly painted with vivid colours. The clear top glaze is washed off at some areas which creates a compelling surface. Like all of John’s ceramics the piece has two different aspects.
