Harry creates colourful and striking sculptures combining metal and glass. His inspiration harks back to the brightly coloured images of the Pop Art Movement of the 1950s. With his ‘Pop Futurism’ range he explores the use of once commonplace tools and turned them into highly decorative and contemporary sculptures.
The skills obtained from a past life as an engineer and welder has informed his work and is apparent in his works’ precision and accuracy. Since completing a BA (Hons) degree in 3D Design Crafts at Plymouth Arts University, Harry has just gone on to win the The Glass Sellers’ Student Award at the British Glass Biennale for his degree work.
